Team Leader

Job Description

As a team leader, you will be responsible for supervising, managing and motivating team members on a daily basis. You will set clear team goals, delegate tasks and set deadlines for your internal team. You will create an inspiring team environment with an open communication culture.

Required Skills

  • Proven work experience as a team leader or supervisor is desired.
  • In-depth knowledge of performance metrics.
  • Good PC skills, especially MS Excel.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Organizational and time-management skills.
  • Decision-making skills.
  • In-depth knowledge of process definition.
  • Degree in Management or training in team leading is a plus.

Your Responsibilities

  • Creating an inspiring team environment with an open communication culture.
  • Motivating team members.
  • Setting clear team goals.
  • Delegating tasks and set deadlines.
  • Overseeing day-to-day operation with dedicated focus areas (product development (e.g. quality of product, on time), project delivery (e.g. %billable, on time), service desk (e.g. SLA adherence))
  • Monitoring team performance and report on metrics.
  • Discovering training needs and provide coaching. Add knowledge to training.
  • Listening to team members' feedback and resolve any issues or conflicts.
  • Recognizing high performance and reward accomplishments.
  • Encouraging continuous process improvements, creativity and structure.
  • Suggesting and organize team building activities.
  • Defining, own and manage the processes and procedures for your team to ensure efficient and high-quality execution of work packages and tasks.
  • Arranging yearly performance review/mid-year review.
  • Participating in capacity & resource planning of team members.
  • Doing your day-to-day job.
