Support engineer

ABOUT THE JOB

As a Support engineer, you are the first person to answer our clients’ questions and find solutions to their problems. Knowing all about our clients’ needs, you work together closely with our development teams to create better solutions if needed. You put your organizational skills to work by structuring and improving our support processes, creating new ones if necessary. You also actively help out with the configuration of our support tools, like on-boarding new clients for operation go-live. 

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Being the first point of contact for our clients in case of operational issues;
  • Answering our clients’ questions using existing support processes and product documentation;
  • Actively updating and improving the existing processes and documentation. Creating new ones if necessary;
  • Delegating to and coordinating with our development teams so they can create new solutions for our clients’ problems if needed;
  • Managing clients’ access to our products;
  • Actively helping out with the configuration of our support tools;
  • Being available for clients’ questions during and outside of office hours, of course remunerated.

  • You are able to work in a team or independently, taking on responsibility to help our clients in any possible way;
  • You are service-oriented and communicative, both to our clients and to your co-workers;
  • You have great drive and are determined to get things done well;
  • You can keep your cool in any situation, however challenging an issue might be;
  • It is considered a plus if you have a background as a Software engineer, or a strong interest in software engineering;
  • You are Dutch and English speaking. A notion of Czech is a big plus, although not essential!
